WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Lead Material Planner is responsible for planning materials supporting our Apparel business for a large Sports and Material Class alignment. This role's primary responsibility is the management of mid to long-range plan health, understanding the driving forces impacting the material forecast and both coordinating and communicating the recommended strategies to support on-time delivery. This role also supports setting and operationalizing material lead time strategies and serving as a Materials SME in key projects. This role will be balanced between tactical support of materials demand-supply management, while also partnering with the Global Materials Planning leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement new strategies for a responsive, flexible materials supply chain that improves materials on-time delivery for pinnacle Apparel product.
This individual will be an important part of the Global Material Planning & Sourcing team working with our Materials Supply Chain (MatSC) partner groups, as well as functions external to MatSC. Partnering within the Materials Planning & Sourcing ecosystem, this individual will develop and implement capabilities across the functions to meet goals across our key pillars of Responsiveness, Resiliency, and Sustainability.
This role is looking for a proactive, thoughtful self-starter who embraces and leads change through strategic, innovative solutions while driving clarity and accountability to manage a dynamic materials supply chain environment.

Leads, facilitates, and coordinates cross functionally to identify and resolve risks and opportunities across the Materials Plan in support of Finished Goods delivery for a large Sport and material class alignment.
