Overview

Title : Data Specialist- Client data

Location : Brooklyn Park, MN (Hybrid - 3 days per week (minimum) in the office, subject to change)

Salary : $46,160 - $52,000

The Master Data Specialist will support operations by monitoring and analyzing master data, key data, and master relationship data within the organization. This role requires frequent interaction with key stakeholders in all departments. The Master Data Specialist will work with cross functional teams while supporting the Master Data Team in day-to-day operations using a high level of critical and logical thinking and analysis to provide problem resolution, and ensure accuracy of information.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests from stakeholders for changes to, or creation of master data records and managing the requests through a formal process of validation and approval
• Work closely with business units to identify and implement data cleansing opportunities
• Contribute on Master Data process improvements, monitoring, follow up on Key performance indicators, etc.
• Provides assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
• Assists in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
• Conducts Data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access
• Assist in the development of forms, procedures and work instructions
• Participate in master data related projects as needed.
• Apply data program techniques and procedures
• Comply with data integrity and security policies
• Take actions to drive resolution of outstanding issues, which may require resolving issues and making judgement calls
• Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company
• Other duties as assigned
