A company is looking for an HR & Payroll Compliance Consultant to support compliance, policy, and payroll process initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive reviews of HR, payroll, and timekeeping practices for compliance with labor laws
Evaluate policies and employee handbooks for publicly traded company requirements
Assess payroll workflows and system configurations for accuracy and compliance
Required Qualifications
10+ years of HR, payroll, and compliance experience with multi-state employee populations
Experience supporting publicly traded companies, including familiarity with SOX controls
Deep knowledge of U.S. employment laws, particularly California wage-and-hour rules
Strong understanding of payroll operations and systems like ADP and UKG
Experience conducting compliance audits and writing policies
