Bookkeeper-Automotive

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support the daily financial operations of an established auto dealership located in Oceanside, CA. This is a full-time, on-site position, Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm (1-hour lunch), and includes a private office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. $30-$32 / hr DOE

Primary Responsibilities :

• Enter daily sales, purchases, and financial transactions into QuickBooks Online
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Work closely with the front office on service estimates, DMV forms, and related documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers via email
• Process bi-weekly payroll, report to ADP, and post payroll entries into QuickBooks Online
• Maintain employee files and assist with HR-related tasks
• Prepare quarterly sales tax filings
• Complete job-cost analysis for vehicles and auctions
• Prepare annual and periodic government forms (1099s, business property statements, etc.)
• Compile year-end financials for the external CPA’s review
• Provide general administrative support as needed
