The Engineer 1 will be a ember of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the development of consumables and integrated systems for genetic analysis. Focus on design modeling materials selection prototyping and testing of high-volume consumable / disposable devices. Manage development cycle from early innovation through development into manufacturing transfer and commercialization.

Responsibilities :

• Design analyze test and qualify consumable / disposable devices from early development into full scale manufacturing.
• Conduct tolerance analyses and produce component and assembly level specifications.
• Work with broader team to define specifications critical parameters test plans etc.
• Develop test plans / protocols conduct characterization studies and draft reports to document design verification activities.
• Independently plan manage and prioritize tasks / projects track progress toward project goals and provides periodic updates to core team.
• Collaborate across sites with cross-disciplines like user experience industrial design manufacturing process packaging fluidics chemistry etc. to support development efforts.
• Work with suppliers for component / assembly prototyping and production.

The estimated base salary range for the Engineer I Plastics Integration role based in the United States of America is : $67000 - $100600. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including but not limited to an individuals qualifications location where the role is to be performed internal equity and alignment with market data. Additionally all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
