Description

Job Summary : Develops, implements, and maintains CAD automation solutions to streamline processes to help with the development and designs of various types of HVAC equipment.

Essential Responsibilities / Activities :

• Assists in the development of 2D drafting / design tools to improve efficiency within the Engineering department.
• Supports conceptual and preliminary models / drawings to be used for development of product.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering department and other teams to understand project requirements.
• Optimize processes to enhance performance, productivity, and user experience.
• Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts & tools to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative departments to determine design solutions.
• Aides in communication with the Design / Drafting teams to maintain standards.
• Travels, when necessary, for product development at other AAON plants.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
