Accounting Clerk

Description

Robert Half has an exceptional opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to assist companies in Minneapolis on a contract basis. This position would include but not limited to matching and batching invoices, processing expense reports, processing checks, handing AR invoicing, and resolving A / P issues.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
• Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, photocopied, and filed
• Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring Company policies are followed
• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned
• Provide customer service to internal business partners
• Help with internal and external audits as required
• Support the AP / AR / Finance Department by completing administrative and clericals tasks

Requirements

Requirements :

3-4 years accounts payable or general accounting experience

Strong 10-key scores

QuickBooks or any equivalent system experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented

Ability to multi-task

Open to change and willing to learn new skills

Ability to follow up on pending issues

Ability to meet deadlines
