Job Title : SQL Server Data Engineer

Location :  Hybrid - Within 35 miles of Tulsa, Oklahoma

Department : Information Technology and Product Development

Reports To : Sr. Director of Engineering

Job Summary :

The Data Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining robust data processing solutions within our healthcare analytics platform. This role focuses on developing T-SQL stored procedures, managing data transformations, and supporting our reporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings 8-10 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server and T-SQL development, with a passion for working with healthcare data.

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with SQL Server database development and T-SQL programming. While knowledge of healthcare claims processing and reporting tools is beneficial, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training in these areas. Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain T-SQL stored procedures for data processing and transformation
• Design and optimize SQL Server databases for healthcare analytics workflows
• Build data extraction and transformation processes using raw T-SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Support data quality initiatives and troubleshoot data processing issues
• Learn and utilize myDBR reporting tool for creating reports and visualizations
• Assist in developing healthcare claims processing workflows and data validation
• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for data processes
• Monitor and optimize database performance for large healthcare datasets
• Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders
