Job Description
The Scheduling Coordinator is an integral part of the Student Life Rec Sports team committed to a vision as leaders in developing lives of balance, physical activity and well-being. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for all administrative duties related to Recreational Sports facility scheduling and coordinating requests for multiple indoor and outdoor facility spaces. Works closely with Recreational Sports facility coordinators to accommodate internal department programs and events, university special events, and general public requests rentals; serves as primary scheduling coordinator for aquatic facilities; communicates with customers to ensure events are well coordinated and all needs are met; provides special event coverage; works closely with Recreational Sports business office; responsible for rental revenue tracking and reporting; assists with assessment and makes recommendations for updates and modifications of processes to Assistant Director.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
Desired Qualifications :
Masters degree; experience in large facility scheduling and event planning; experience with EMS (Event Management Systems) or facility scheduling software; experience in a recreational sports and / or university setting; attention to detail and well-developed communication; progressive administrative experience; including invoicing and scheduling.
