Position Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Survey Manager to add to our team, to lead field survey operations for heavy civil infrastructure (highway / bridge), and energy projects around the US. You will play an integral role in leading survey teams on projects that range from $50M to $1Billion on highway projects, bridge projects, power projects and water / wastewater projects, working within tight tolerances and ensuring accuracy in the field. Our Survey Managers play an integral role in establishing and maintaining methods for a safe, accurate and efficient survey and control on our projects. You will have responsibilities over contractual requirements, design model review and field survey operations, and should plan to spend around 50% of your time in the field observing and instructing the survey operations on the job site. This role requires strong technical expertise in surveying, team leadership, and collaboration with engineering and construction teams to ensure precision and efficiency in all surveying activities.

District Overview
Kiewit's Central District operates in the central and south-central regions of the United States. We build heavy civil and transportation projects, including highways, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams and tunnels. With one of the largest equipment fleets in the region, we can mobilize to any location as a full-service construction team capable of self-performing mass grading, drainage, bridge construction, aggregate production, paving, rail and utility construction.
Location
As a Survey Manager you will support projects in the Colorado region, as well as other states in Central United States. We support projects in CO, MT, WY, NM, ND, SD, NE, KS, MO, IS and MN. In this role, you must be willing to travel to project sites as needed and visit our district office in Lone Tree Colorado occasionally for training and meetings. When assigned to a project site, we provide per diem and trips home.

Survey Manager • Wichita, KS, US
