Assistant Project Manager
Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in the delivery of mechanical contracting projects, specifically within the HVAC and plumbing sectors. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project documentation, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, primarily focusing on universities, hospitals, and laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of mechanical contracting projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Maintain project schedules and update documentation using Procore
- Monitor project budgets and assist in financial reporting
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress
- Support the Project Manager in resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldKnowledge of MEP systems and construction processesExperience working on projects in universities, hospitals, or laboratoriesProficiency in project management software, preferably Procore
