Job Title : Assembly Mechanic

Location : Renton, WA 98057

Job Type : Full-Time | Consultant (6 Months)

Schedule : Must be able to work either shift

Starting Pay : 45.00 / hour (+ 110 weekly per diem for non-local candidates)

Your Role : Precision, Performance, Progress

As an Assembly Mechanic supporting 737 fuselage production, you’ll play a critical role in assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, inspecting, and testing structural and system components. Your expertise will directly impact product quality, safety, and overall aircraft performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Assemble, install, seal, rig, and inspect structural and system components per engineering specs

Interpret and work from blueprints, process specifications, and verbal / electronic instructions

Use shop math and precision measuring / test instruments

Perform functional testing and adjustments for fit, form, and function

Operate and maintain assembly tooling and equipment

Identify and report discrepancies

Perform basic machine maintenance (lubrication, filter changes, etc.)

Move products within work areas using shop equipment

Support continuous workflow and assist / train fellow employees

Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified

Participate in total preventative maintenance and safety compliance procedures

Qualifications

Required :

Must be able to work either shift

Must be blueprint-proficient

Must have 5+ years of aerospace sheet metal experience

737 rework and / or structures background preferred

Must be able to pass Plate Test

Additional Benefits :

Paid flights or mileage reimbursement for travel to training in Wichita, KS

Hotel reimbursement during Wichita training period

110 weekly per diem for candidates residing over 100 miles from work location

Pay Details : 45.00 per hour
