Senior Data Management Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Management Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in enterprise data engineering and management. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, managing database deployments, and ensuring reliable database replication across mission-critical environments. You will play a key part in shaping our modern data ecosystem by leveraging Azure Data Factory (ADF) and enterprise database technologies to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality data solutions.

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who enjoys working across data integration, administration, and governance while collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Design & Develop Pipelines : Build, automate, and optimize ETL / ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Database Deployment & Administration : Support schema design, versioning, migrations, and perform administrative tasks such as performance monitoring, tuning, indexing, and access management.
• Replication & Synchronization : Implement and maintain database replication strategies to ensure high availability and consistency across systems.
• Data Quality & Governance : Define and enforce validation frameworks, ensuring compliance with governance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Optimization & Troubleshooting : Optimize SQL queries and data processes for speed, cost, and scalability, while resolving pipeline or replication issues.
• Collaboration & Leadership : Partner with architects, analysts, and DBAs to deliver end-to-end solutions. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and champion best practices in data engineering and DevOps.

This is the anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Brisbane, California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives and restricted stock units. San Francisco Bay Area Roles

$112,000-$140,000 USD

This is the anticipated base salary range in the United States.
