What this job involves

Critical Environments Lead Engineer at JLL will drive excellence in mission-critical facility operations while shaping a brighter way for our clients and teams. This role puts you at the forefront of managing complex engineering systems in data centers, healthcare facilities, laboratories, and other critical environments where uptime and reliability are paramount. You'll lead technical teams, oversee preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with stringent industry standards. Working in our culture of collaboration, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to optimize facility performance, implement innovative solutions, and maintain the highest levels of operational excellence. This position empowers you to thrive as a technical leader while advancing critical infrastructure that supports our clients' most important operations.

Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers, fostering an environment where everyone is empowered to thrive through skills development and collaborative problem-solving
• Oversee critical systems including UPS, generators, HVAC, fire suppression, and power distribution equipment to ensure 24 / 7 operational reliability
• Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures for mission-critical environments
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate swift resolution of system failures to minimize downtime and maintain service level agreements
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to implement system upgrades and embrace more innovative ways of working
• Conduct technical assessments, root cause analyses, and develop improvement recommendations that strengthen facility performance
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards while championing best practices across teams
