The Accounting Specialist plays an essential role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining the integrity of financial records across multiple programs and departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, verify invoices, code expenses, and maintain accurate vendor records.
• Prepare and send invoices, track reimbursements and purchase orders, and reconcile receivables.
• Record and reconcile general ledger entries, including cash receipts, payroll, and payments.
• Prepare and file required financial and payroll reports with internal teams and external agencies.
• Complete annual W-2 and 1099 reporting in compliance with IRS requirements.
• Review and reconcile bank deposits and post cash receipts.
• Provide accounting and policy support to staff as needed.
• Perform general accounting and administrative duties such as audits, data entry, and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

$55,000 - $60,000
