Project Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join a dynamic construction company based in the south Denver Tech Center. This role requires expertise in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in project-related accounting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Handle bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and timely payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable functions, ensuring prompt collection of payments and accurate records.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and bank statements.
• Track and maintain project accounting records, including budgets, expenses, and financial reports.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Prepare regular financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Assist with audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.
• Support the implementation of accounting best practices to optimize processes.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
