Job Purpose
The TERRITORY MANAGER will develop, manage, and increase sales of our ophthalmic surgical products within assigned territory through consultative sales management and superior customer support.Duties Include :
Develop new customers and work closely with existing customers, in an operating room setting, to expand sales of our ophthalmic surgical portfolio.Generate new and repeat sales by providing consultative product and technical information in a professional and timely manner.Understand surgical procedures (particularly vitreoretinal) and determine customer requirements, expectations and recommend specific products and solutions.Develop and manage geographic sales territory, maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and increase revenue within territory.Effectively communicate features and benefits of products to improve sales and customer experience.Ability to work in an operating room environment to guide surgeons on the use of our products through the surgical process.Work with surgeons, nurse staff, and facility management to provide product quotes as required.Maintain customer contact through sales demonstrations and trade shows. Extensive travel.Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.Follow up with all leads, demonstrations, and in-services in an efficient and effective manner.Maintain customer files in Abas software.Coordinate with Marketing to identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction.Manage time effectively, meet personal and team goals and work effectively with other team members.
Expense management.Territory dimension should be between 1.5 and 3 million.Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related fieldProven experience as a Territory / Sales Manager preferably in the medical device fieldExcellent oral and communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsPossess a valid driver’s licenseBenefits
