Location : Near South Bend IN area

Shift Options : 1st & 2nd Shift (2nd shift includes shift premium)

We are working with our client that is hiring experienced CNC Swiss Machinists to join their ultra-precision team. They produce critical components for the aerospace, medical, and defense industries and are looking for detail-driven machinists who thrive in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes (e.g., Citizen, Star, Tsugami)

Work from blueprints, process sheets, and setup documentation

Perform inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)

Monitor machine operations, tool wear, and part quality

Adjust machine parameters to maintain tolerances and optimize cycle times

Document part history and production data using digital logs

Preferred Experience :

Experience with ESPRIT CAM software or similar (GibbsCAM, PartMaker, etc.)

Familiarity with Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls

Ability to work with live tooling, sub-spindle transfers, and multi-axis synchronization

Background in tight tolerance work (medical / aerospace preferred)

Willingness to be cross-trained on setups and programming
