Design Technician

How Your Role will Shape Our Success

Were looking for a skilled and motivated Structural / Architectural Drafting Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the technical development of high-quality design and construction documents.

As a Design Technician, youll work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to support project planning and coordination. Your responsibilities will include developing accurate Revit models and AutoCAD drawings , as well as assisting with shop drawing reviews, field measurements, and other project support tasks. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will play a key role in translating design concepts into clear, buildable documentation.

What You'll Do

• Develop 3D models in Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare project drawings and construction documents in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for both new design and restoration projects.
• Coordinate drawings with both internal and external clients.
• Assist in parking striping and signage layout.
• Assist in shop drawing review.
• Assists with field evaluation and punch list site visits.

Compensation & Benefits

At Walker Consultants, we are committed to maintaining fairness and equity in our pay practices. For this role, the estimated base salary range is $50,000 $60,000 per year. The final salary offered may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
