Collaborator in Residence

General purpose : To provide instruction to graduate students and to convey knowledge from a professional perspective.

Summary of Essential Functions :

Attend instructional class sessions once a week for the duration of the class.

Meet with students to discuss work outside of class as required.

Provide core instruction to satisfy primary learning objectives of course to groups of students in class.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Work with course instructor to satisfy lesson plan objectives for the duration of the course.

Attend live lectures for students in class and provide input when necessary.

Maintain communication with students, delivering a reply within 24 hours of receipt of communication.

Provide qualitative academic assessments to students; work and critical feedback to the faculty instructor as it pertains to their overall progress and grade.

Duration of approximately 12 hours per week for the duration of the course.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Knowledge of User Experience subject matter.

Minimum qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience : 5+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Master’s degree in a related field.

Experience : 10+ years of related experience.
