job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPresent New Product Introductions (NPIs) for machines within the specialist group. Conduct training sessions as required to technicians on paving product. Help technicians diagnose equipment issues. Maintain ongoing communication with technicians regarding product issues and updates. Maintain communication with Shop and Field Management. Serve as the Technical Communicator for paving products in ME, NH, VT. Support growth in parts and service for paving products. Assist existing Product Support Consultants with paving product opportunities. Minimum of 5 years working with Earthmoving equipment in roles such as mechanic, Technical Communicator, or Trainer. Prefer high level of experience with paving industry in general. High level of Product Knowledge and Familiarity with the CAT product line. Strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent -interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively across various personnel levels. Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude. Proficiency with CAT tools such as SIS (Service Information System) and ET (Electronic Technician). High level of Organizational Skills : Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Overview
Milton CAT is seeking a highly driven person for our Paving Technical Communicator to work in our Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont region. This candidate will work within the Service Organization to support earthmoving equipment product line. Will act as liaison between CAT, Weiler and Milton CAT. Maintain high standards of customer service by providing technical support to technicians, managers, and supervisors.
Note : We are recruiting for one open position and have advertised this position in multiple cities within our territory.
Responsibilities
Technical Support & Communication
Assist service departments in ME, NH, and VT with timely and accurate repairs on CAT and Weiler paving equipment.
- Act as a liaison between Milton CAT and Caterpillar (CAT) to facilitate the flow of technical information.
- Provide backup coverage for Technical Communicators in other regions.
