Surgical Oncologist (Charlotte Region, NC)

Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Surgical Oncologist to join their team in the Charlotte Region of North Carolina. Candidate should be fellowship trained in Complex General Surgical Oncology. The primary focus of this role will be breast cancer, with additional responsibilities in the treatment of melanoma, sarcoma, and general surgical oncology. Established, comprehensive Integrated Network Cancer Program with NAPBC accreditation, located in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina

Our comprehensive cancer program is designed to promote disease sub-specialization and foster collaborative, team-based care.

Full-time opportunity (2 days in clinic + 2.5 days in OR)

This role offers the opportunity to participate in clinical research.

Teaching opportunities available through our clinical affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill, working with UNC medical students

Engage in a weekly multi-disciplinary cancer conference to support patient-centered care

Participate in institute and state-wide breast, melanoma, and hepatobiliary tumor council, with collaboration on initiatives and clinical research

Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available in both the clinic and operating room

Each physician covers their own call.

The Charlotte Region is a division of Novant Health Cancer Institute. The institute includes over 100 specialists in 30+ locations across the state of NC.

Candidate Qualifications :

Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery and Complex General Surgical Oncology
