Supply Chain Coordinator

The Supply Chain Coordinator arranges deliveries of Color Material products to internal customers (domestic and international), maintains safety stock levels in all U.S. and Canadian warehouses as set by the planning department and assists in the maintenance of the material masters through the MDO department.

List of Key Responsibilities :

• Filling of all internal customer orders and warehouse replenishment orders, by constantly reviewing released requisitions and open stock transfer orders in SAP and creating deliveries as material becomes available.
• Communication with the internal customers to inform them when there will be a delay in shipping their order and providing them with updates as to the availability of stock.
• Reviewing & updating all safety stock levels at all Color Material warehouses to ensure stock is maintained and available for servicing customers from those warehouses.
• Reviewing the inventory at the warehouses and in conjunction with the planner, determining if inventory should be moved to a more active warehouse to avoid dormancy issues.
• Communication with the shipping departments regarding delivery delays and expedited freight, when necessary.
• Updating material extensions and PIR's thru use of the Sun Portal to ensure that material moves through the Supply Chain as required.
