Basic knowledge of motors (including 3 phase motors), motor controls, precision measurement and diagnostic tools preferred. PLC knowledge and motor drive experience preferred. Ability to comprehend instructions and carry them out consistently. Ability and willingness to work Weekends, including overtime. Must possess a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain a government driver's license. This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. Electrician Essential Job Functions :
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and correct various operational equipment including PLC's and motor drives with the assistance of laptops, engineering and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine, emergency and preventative maintenance repair on automated high speed ammunition manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative and emergency electrical repairs on various equipment and lighting systems.
- Perform repairs on electrical switchgear equipment and building power distribution systems.
- Runs conduit and electrical wiring to meet NEC requirements and applicable plant standards.
Electrician Minimum Requirements :
(2) two years recent and relevant electrician experience; OR,
Location-Specific Requirements :
This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. To meet the government-facility requirements, the candidate must be a US citizen.
