Hunter Hamilton is seeking a Financial Services Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Lisle, IL . Key Responsibilities :

Accurately process and review student financial transactions.

Manage, reconcile, and analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP).

Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and speed.

Identify and resolve discrepancies through research and critical thinking.

Deliver exceptional customer service to students, families, and internal teams regarding financial inquiries.

Ensure all activities remain compliant with institutional policies and regulatory standards.

Collaborate with internal departments to maintain accurate and timely financial operations.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office or administrative environment.

Background in financial services, banking, accounting, or billing is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required -must be comfortable using pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Prior experience in student financial services or higher education is beneficial.

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (not required).
