Job Summary :
We are seeking an exceptional Director of Social Services to join our team at Cadbury at Cherry Hill, a premier senior living community in Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey. As a leader in our organization, the Director of Social Services will be responsible for overseeing the social services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our residents and patients. Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the social services department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
Develop and implement programs and services to promote resident / patient well-being, independence, and quality of life
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and external partners
Develop and manage budgets for social services programs and services
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address resident / patient needs
Recruit, train, and supervise social services staff
Develop and maintain policies and procedures for social services
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services in Long term Care
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
