Role Overview
Quality Site Leader
– Aerospace Manufacturing at
Eastridge Workforce Solutions
Location : Danville, KY
Relocation Assistance Provided
Salary : $118,000 – $125,000 annually
Our client, a leader in aerospace innovation, seeks a hands‑on Quality Site Leader to oversee daily Quality Assurance operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality matters in Danville facilities.
Develop deep expertise in North American quality processes and value streams.
Oversee schedules for new quality initiatives, equipment moves, FAIs, and capability studies.
Ensure adherence to all customer and regulatory requirements.
Lead quality support for work transfers and integration of outsourced vendors.
Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System, ensuring AS9100 compliance.
Champion a culture of root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
Provide organizational leadership including training, coaching, and succession planning.
Support cross‑functional global improvement activities.
Manage quality problem‑solving investigations and reporting (RCCA).
Develop systems to measure, monitor, and control product quality.
Foster effective communication across teams and functions.
Lead and develop a team capable of thriving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree required (Quality Assurance or Engineering preferred).
Certifications : Lead Auditor, Quality Engineer, or Quality Manager certification required. Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; Black Belt highly desirable.
Experience : 5–10 years in a manufacturing environment, ideally within aerospace machining and assembly.
Demonstrated expertise in problem‑solving tools and methodologies (5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, DMAIC, DOE, A3).
Strong background in Statistical Process Control.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management; experience with SAP, Q‑Pulse, and CAPPS is a plus.
Knowledge of military, FAA, EASA, and AS9100 / AS9102 Quality System requirements.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
