Job Details :

As the Cloud Security Architect at Cencora, you will spearhead the creation and execution of our cloud security strategies. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into all facets of cloud architecture, operations, and governance.

Key Responsibilities :

Formulate and communicate a comprehensive cloud security strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational governance across IT initiatives.

Support project teams in making informed design choices that meet overarching security objectives.

Evaluate cloud security design choices and contribute to the target operating model relating to digital transformation efforts.

Enforce adherence to Cencora's security policies and standards across all projects, identifying architectural risks through threat assessments.

Conduct compliance reviews of Azure configurations, including risk assessments and documentation of residual risks.

Generate thought leadership content to bolster our cloud security architecture and strategies.

Review and authorize Azure policy exemption requests to ensure consistency with security standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security-related procedures and guidelines supporting our information security policies.

Ensure that security requirements are established and implemented in all projects.

Partner with the Information Security Risk and Compliance teams to integrate risk assessment needs into the information security architecture.

Create and maintain detailed security documentation and designs for both technical and process controls.

Play a pivotal role in embedding security into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and build phases.

Engage with engineering teams to design and review system architectures, establishing secure patterns and principles.

Work with business units to devise strategies to mitigate emerging cloud-oriented threats.

Coordinate with Security Operations to ensure prompt development and implementation of operational security processes.

Collaborate with architects and engineers across infrastructure, network, application, and business teams to ensure solutions adhere to Cencora's policies and standards.

Requirements : Education :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Certifications :

Azure Security Engineer Certification

Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Certification in Information Security Strategy Management (CISM)

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

CompTIA Security+ Certification

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

TS-SCI Security Clearance Certification

Work Experience :

Minimum of 8 years of directly related experience, ideally in information security.

Salary Range :

$124,000 - $190,850. This salary range represents a National Average for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on location.
