RECEPTIONIST

Job Description :

  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous professional manner. Direct guests to the designated location, according to their request
  • Ensure that the telephone is answered courteously, promptly, and professionally and that messages are handled efficiently
  • Maintain a daily resident listing
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail / deliveries accordingly
  • Process daily incoming invoices, and log into a spreadsheet
  • Obtain approval / authorizations from Dept. Head / Administrator
  • Submit and track outgoing invoices to the Corporate Head Office
  • Complete / Review weekly AP reports
  • Update the Vendor’s contract as needed
  • Assist in duties related to the Business Office and other areas as needed

Requirements / Qualifications :

  • High School graduate
  • Associate's degree (preferred)
  • Experience in Excel / Microsoft is required
  • Experience with various office equipment
  • Excellent communication / organizational skills
  • 1-2 years experience in a nursing home (preferred)
