We have a 6 month contract to hire for a Lead Scrum Master who will bring at least 5+ years of Agile / Scrum experience, including a SAFe Scrum Master certification and proven success leading multiple teams through Program Increment (PI) Planning Prep and other Agile ceremonies. They will have exceptional communication skills, a strong ability to hold team members accountable, and a disciplined approach to meetings and delivery commitments. This individual will be assertive and proactive, skilled at removing roadblocks, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement through Agile metrics and reporting. Healthcare experience is preferred, as well as the ability to ask insightful questions to uncover gaps and align priorities. 100% Remote.

Job Description : Job Profile Summary

Position Purpose :

Leads the oversight of activities managed by a delivery pod / application team while adhering to agile practices and disciplines. Works closely with Product Owners to ensure that delivery pod / application team members are working on the highest priority work items defined within their respective roadmaps. Prepares deliverables and artifacts that highlight the progress accomplished by delivery pods / application teams (velocity, sprint and feature burn ups / burn downs, cumulative flow reports, etc.) and presents those artifacts as needed. Provides hands-on coaching to support the adoption of agile practices and identifying opportunity areas for continuous improvement.

Education / Experience :

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).

Requires 5 - 7 years of related experience.

Technical Skills :

One or more of the following skills are desired.

Knowledge of Agile Leadership; Agile Management; Agile Software Development; Agile Testing; Project Management; Software Development Life Cycle

Experience with JIRA; Project Management; Stakeholder Management; User Stor
