Job Title : Special Education Teacher (K12)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and individualized support to students with diverse learning needs across grades K12. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and committed to helping every student reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths, challenges, and goals.
Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to ensure effective inclusion and progress monitoring.
Use data-driven strategies to assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Maintain accurate and timely records of student performance, communication logs, and required documentation.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and independence.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and goals.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Special Education.
Experience working with students with a range of disabilities, including learning, behavioral, and developmental differences.
Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Patience, empathy, and a deep commitment to inclusive education.

Employment Type : Full-Time
Pay Range : $35 $45 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
