Goodyear Belts by Adventry Corp. is a company that manufactures and distributes the Goodyear Belt brand of Industrial and Automotive Aftermarket Power Transmission Belts. Under this licensing agreement with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Adventry Corp. is looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join their warehousing team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse by safely and accurately moving products from one place to another. The successful candidate will also promote a safe and clean work environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move materials, supplies, and finished products within the warehouse
- Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records of all products and materials in the warehouse
- Organize and maintain inventory levels, and properly stack and store materials to ensure maximum space utilization
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and ensure all equipment is well-maintained and in good working order
- Identify and report any materials, products, or equipment that do not meet quality standards or are defective
- Cooperate with supervisors and follow all instructions to complete assigned tasks within a tight timeframe
- Follow safety procedures and practices at all times and ensure compliance with established health and safety regulations
