Recording Studio Assistant

The SLCC Music Program is seeking a Recording Studio Assistant. This Work-Study student will report to the full-time music faculty, and will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations in the SLCC recording studio and similar facilities. This includes managing the studio schedule, managing inventory, maintaining an organized the studio space, and assisting SLCC students and faculty with recording studio equipment and software as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Knowledge Skills & Abilities :

• Understand how to operate the SLCC Recording Studio equipment, including DAW software, signal flow, and the SSL console
• Manage the studio schedule
• Complete a weekly inventory of studio equipment
• Manage studio organization
• Assist SLCC students and faculty with recording sessions as needed
