Job Description
Receptionist / Front Desk Attendant Needed for Busy Law Firm must have at least 2-year's experience in a law firm or fast-paced professional environment. Must be able to type 60+ WPM, as well as have impeccable grammar, strong spelling and written communication skills. You will be responsible for answering a multi-line phone and creating a positive first impression with all callers and employees. Additionally, you will be tasked with handling administrative office duties. Must be polished, professional and articulate. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all callers’ and firm staff needs are met with care and professionalism.
Some duties include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Answering and routing incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system
- Greeting clients and visitors and answering visitor inquiries
- Scheduling and routing clients
- Collecting and routing mail and hand-delivered packages
- Scanning, photocopying, faxing and filing documents
- Data entry
- Drafting simple correspondence (i.e. letter of representation, medical records / bills requests, etc.)
- Additional administrative and office duties and projects as assigned
- Maintaining and scheduling conference rooms
- Maintaining the waiting area, lobby or other public areas
- Serving beverage to guests
You must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. You will be expected to maintain :
