SouthLaw, P.C., a nationally recognized leader in the mortgage banking and creditor's rights industry, seeks an energetic, highly motivated and results-oriented attorney who is interested in an environment which demands legal reasoning, independent thought and creative problem solving. The Firm specializes in foreclosure, bankruptcy, evictions, real estate collections and related civil litigation. The current opening for the attorney position is in the Iowa Foreclosure department in the Firm's Overland Park, KS office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing lenders and financial institutions in judicial foreclosure actions. General duties include reviewing real estate titles, drafting legal pleadings, contract interpretation, dispute and issue resolution, communicating with clients and opposing counsel and assisting with the management of support staff. Some court appearances and limited travel to surrounding metropolitan counties will be expected.
