About the Position :
First Internet Bank provides exciting internship opportunities for individuals pursuing their degree. The purpose of the First Internet Bank Internship Program is to provide a hands-on experience in a business setting and to present interns with real world insight into the financial / real estate industry. As a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending Intern at First Internet Bank, you will have the opportunity to work closely with all members of the CRE team in order to complete a variety of tasks.
What You Will Do :
- Work adjacent to Portfolio Managers to achieve a comprehensive understanding of CRE underwriting.
- Work with Relationship Managers to get an introduction on CRE loan structuring and risk identification
- Maintain periodic loan reporting requirements and complete various portfolio management activities
- Perform research and analysis on commercial real estate market conditions
- Assist with file organization and periodic administrative tasks, as needed
- Participate in internal and external meetings with colleagues and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned
