As a Sr Engineering Manager, you will be an engineering leader who shapes what we do and will set the tone for how we do it. You will be part of the Connections Platform team, which includes dedicated pods building EHR integrations, providing APIs for external and internal requesters to make requests into our platform. This specific role will focus on building highly scalable API products that help us integrate with our partners and help them with automating and digitizing their workloads. You will be working closely with various product teams across the growing Datavant customer base to enhance data exchange between a wide range of data providers. Specific requirements : Been managing highly scalable platform teams. Can taken on more scope as their team(s) grow. Strategic product minded leader. Great cross functional stakeholder management skills. Handling ambiguity and trade offs, a big part of the job is being able to identify requirements and finding the right solution to use to solve the problem. You might have to dive into other teams' codebases to collaborate with them on building a solution in their ownership area. Having APIs products (such as Plaid, Twilio, Stripe) and / or developer experiences is a plus.

In this role you will :

• Build, grow, and lead a world-class team of engineers who build the critical parts of our product platforms
• Create the technical vision for Datavant's suite of retrieval products
• Partner with product and design to ship value to customers
• Be a critical leader of the payer products and business, delivering rapid revenue and customer growth by directing how customer use cases, capabilities, positioning, and more come together to create a winning product
• Be the champion & driver of product innovation processes & initiatives
• Be hands-on by leading high impact efforts
• Be a strong communicator, coach, and mentor

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. The estimated salary range for this role is $224,000 - $280,000.
