You will be the Proposal and Affordability Subcontract Manager for the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. Our team is responsible for driving proposal efforts and affordability initiatives for the F35 Sensors program, ensuring timely and compliant submissions that meet government regulations and program commitments.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Proposal and Affordability Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for leading GSC proposal efforts, developing supplier RFP templates, and coordinating cost analysis and negotiation strategies. You will also drive affordability initiatives, managing the affordability pipeline, and creating step-down plans to meet program targets. Your responsibilities will include :

• Organizing and overseeing GSC proposal activities, including timely submissions and compliance with regulations
• Developing supplier RFP templates and leading central procurement proposal kickoff meetings
• Coordinating cost analysis and negotiation strategies, including historical cost data analysis and trend modeling
• Managing affordability pipeline, ensuring initiatives move through execution into savings realization
• Creating step-down plans to meet program affordability targets and negotiated positions
• Collaborating with internal and external customers, including Sr. Management and customer representatives
• This role requires at least 2 days per week onsite in the Orlando, FL office

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
