OVERVIEW

Alera Group is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team in Hanover, MA. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage personal lines insurance policies (home, auto, umbrella, flood, etc.)
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverages
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure accurate policy placement and underwriting practices
  • Identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling to enhance client coverage and satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years of experience in Personal Lines insurance as an account manager
  • Valid Massachusetts Property and Casualty License
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and services
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in agency management software; Applied Epic experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

    • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    This job is expected to be performed hybrid from home and the Fairhaven, MA office.

    Salary range is $55K to 75K per year.
