Holyoke Medical Center is an#independent community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the Pioneer Valley for over 125 years.# We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient centered care.# We are seeking an experienced individual to coordinate and carry out all surgical scheduling functions and to support the office assistants by providing customer service and performing general administrative tasks as needed.#Individual will work#effectively with the Operating Room Scheduler to schedule surgeries, relay booking information to others who need to be aware of surgery booking#to ensure that the appropriate resources are available, and obtain#prior authorization for insurance coverage of a surgical case.## REQUIREMENTS : ## High school graduate; two years of experience in a physician#s office or similar environment; experience in Spanish / English medical / health interpreting preferred; experience working with third party payers and working knowledge of ICD-10 and HCPC coding relative to surgery preferred; certifiication as a Clinical MA preferred
