We solve difficult challenges like hardening UAVs against directed energy, protecting payloads during hypersonic flight, and shielding human eyesight and other sensors from laser attack. THE ROLE
The Project Manager will oversee government programs, planning, directing, and controlling activities to ensure program objectives and customer requirements are achieved from pre-award to completion. The role will also involve scoping new programs including writing proposals and statements of work. You will be responsible for customer interface and communication to program teams. You will interface with all aspects of the company, including production, engineering, sales, accounting, executive management, and government customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own the budget, schedule, and resource allocation of programs through initiation, planning, execution, and closing of program objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures and resource breakdown structures.
- Create integrated master schedules and Gantt charts to track milestones and schedule variance.
- Manage program resources and track resource hours to budgeted hours.
- Prepare and present routine status reports and risk assessments to executives and customers.
- Coordinate with Principal Investigators and Project Accountants regarding technical tasking and financial tracking of existing and future programs.
- Write proposals and statements of work to achieve the objectives of the program.
- Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders.
- Coordinate and manage external contractors and consultants.
- Ensure previous lessons learned are incorporated into future program planning and execution.
