Position Summary :

The Project Manager (PM) manages the coordination and completion of Material Handling System (MHS) projects with increasing levels complexity, scope, and budget. The PM assures all deliverables are on time, on budget, and within scope. The PM works directly with Fortna employees, customers, supplier-partners, and other service providers in connection with project deliverables.

• Apply broad understanding of supply chain concepts, processes, and trends in the design and implementation of solutions.
• Leverage progressive experience and knowledge to evaluate and compare material handling alternatives and technologies when supporting the design and implementation of solutions.
• Understand specific capabilities within supply chain applications and leverage broad knowledge to assist with design and implementation efforts.
• Utilize a broad understanding of Fortna project governance activities and Fortna project governance tools in the delivery of projects and management of project risks.
• Lead two or more external / internal project or work streams of intermediate size, scope, budget, and complexity.
• Leverage progressive consulting skills in support of problem resolution, helping assure client acceptance to agreed deliverables, provide critical support on approach and methods, and help with developing closed-loop communications for project stakeholders.
• Support the delivery of training.
• Support internal project teams in the development of tools, templates, and methodologies.
• Support the development of trade show material.
• Assist the sales team with preliminary schedules, sales calls, site reviews and installation plans for projects of moderate scope and complexity and generally inline with brown field projects.

When duties are performed in a typical office environment, extended periods of sitting at a desk and viewing a computer screen will be required. Also required is the ability to talk and hear, in person and by telephone; use of hands to handle, feel, or operate standard office equipment; and ability to reach with hands and arms. Associates are frequently required to walk and stand. The noise level in this work environment is usually quiet. When traveling to Client sites, essential requirements of this position may require physical presence in various environments and locations. Physical stamina may be required for prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and / or working in cramped quarters. Exposure to potentially dangerous tools and equipment amidst a variety of building materials is probable, as is occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can vary from being relatively quiet, to moderate, to excessive. Safety shoes or boots may be required in certain situations. Additional safety clothing including gloves, hardhats, and devices to protect eyes, mouth, or hearing, will be worn as necessary.

The base salary range for this role is $87,600 to $131,300. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
