Job Summary
This position supports the District Grants Development and Management Office with program activities, including training development and implementation, event coordination, reporting and data analysis, identification and dissemination of funding opportunities, and general project and task support. The position requires a high degree of professionalism when engaging with stakeholders across the district and a strong ability to work independently.
Essential Functions
10% - Departmental event coordination and management.
20% - Designs and develops training and instructional materials related to grant development, management, and compliance.
15% - Plans and coordinates workshops, training, and demonstrations related to grant development, management, and compliance.
10% - Conducts research, data analysis, and reporting; Researches industry trends, solutions, and best practices.
15% - Researches and identifies public and private funding opportunities and determines viability and alignment with strategic plans and initiatives; communicates opportunities with college departments.
10% - Develops, maintains, and delivers reports, documentation, marketing materials, presentations, and other communication materials.
10% - Manage projects as assigned on behalf of the department.
10% - Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or directly related field and two (2) years of related program management experience preferably in an educational setting.
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
