Mechanical Quality Inspector - Field & Shop Oversight
Nashville, TN | Mechanical Construction | Full-Time
gpac is partnered with a well-established and rapidly growing mechanical contractor seeking a Quality Inspector to support their operations in the Nashville market. This is a key role focused on maintaining the highest level of workmanship and compliance across fabrication and field installations.
If you have a sharp eye for detail, take pride in doing things right the first time, and enjoy working with teams that care about quality and accountability-this could be the right fit.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct inspections and audits of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems
- Oversee pressure testing and verify systems meet design, code, and safety standards
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for quality compliance
- Maintain detailed QA documentation and certification records
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel on quality issues
- Travel as needed to fabrication shops and job sites
