Job Title : Production Helper

Job Description

The role involves material handling and machine operation, packaging and labeling finished products, and preparing them for shipping. You will assist with the setup and operation of automated production machinery to apply weatherizing solutions to large paper rolls used in wrapping concrete forms in the construction industry. Additional duties include shop cleanup and general shop assistance, as well as operating a forklift to move materials.

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial manufacturing setting with heavy machinery. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses. The work schedule rotates between three shifts every eight weeks : Day (6 : 45 AM – 3 : 00 PM), Swing (2 : 45 PM – 11 : 00 PM), and Night (10 : 45 PM – 7 : 00 AM), with a backward rotation from night to swing to day shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.80 - $24.80 / hr.
