Welder - Sheet Metal Fabrication

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder specializing in mild steel and sheet metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will utilize .035 hard wire for welding and be adept at reading blueprints to fabricate parts and weld thin gauge metals.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on mild steel and sheet metal using .035 hard wire.
• Read and interpret blueprints for part fabrication.
• Weld thin gauge metal efficiently and accurately.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and organized shop that combines production welding and fabrication. The facility specializes in manufacturing sheet metal products, servicing industries such as automotive and exercise equipment. The swing shift runs from 4 : 00 pm to 2 : 30 am, Monday through Thursday, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 / hr.
