A company is looking for a Database Administrator responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise databases.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain RDBMS / NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB)
Monitor database performance and perform tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Manage backups, recovery, replication, failover, and disaster recovery setups
Required Qualifications
Strong SQL skills and deep knowledge of at least one major database platform
Experience with performance tuning, backup & recovery, and high availability
Familiarity with Linux / Windows servers and shell scripting
Experience with monitoring tools (OEM, Nagios, Grafana, etc.)
Understanding of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus
