Description : Job Summary :
Install, maintain, and operate machinery according to instruction given by the Production Supervisor and / or Management. Assures consistent quality of production by operating machinery within parameters set by specifications for individual products. Includes following instructions; monitoring machine parameters; utilizing tools and machinery; filling documentation; interacting with staff.
Requirements :
Essential Job Duties and responsibilities :
- Set up and operate production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Verify line settings (operations / packaging) of equipment per established specifications.
- Maintains machinery to achieve optimum performance using tools available.
- May make needed repairs to machinery with instruction from Production Supervisor or Management.
- Interacts with quality control and other staff to ensure proper documentation is being filled out and quality control weights and measures are being documented.
- Verify weights / measures of finished product during manufacturing per established specifications.
- Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
- Log data from testing performed, including weights and burst tank test.
- Communicate to Supervisor / Management in a professional manner.
- Follow and improve area processes as needed.
- Housekeeping and sanitation.

Ability to lift 50 pounds. Requires ability to continually stand and walk for up to 10-hour days.
