General Description

The Injection Molding Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations within the injection molding department, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role manages production personnel, develops process improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Injection Molding manufacturing processes
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal performance metrics for on time delivery, cycle count accuracy, inventory management, cost, product quality, capacity plans and utilization, and production schedule accomplishment. Recommend and drive continuous improvement activities with staff to meet annual objectives.
• Development of short- and long-term operations strategies for the site.
• Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free.
• Plan, organize, and direct molding operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Monitor machine performance, production metrics, scrap rates, and cycle times.
• Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
• This role will be responsible for a multi-shift operation that may grow from 24 / 5 3-shift operation to a 24 / 7 4-shift operation, with 40 to 60 employees
• Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
• Works with Technical Team and other company resources to ensure the Injection Molding Operations are operating efficiently
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity to ensure team complies with 5-S Standards
• Regularly collaborate with EHS, Quality, HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Maintenance and Engineering to ensure the overall success of the manufacturing operation.

This position is salaried paid at $80-$90k annually. Annual Bonus potential of 5%.
