Anchor Talent is recruiting an experienced Production Manager to lead the startup and operational launch of a new greenfield manufacturing facility in the Dallas area. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a world-class production operation from the ground up, establishing processes, commissioning equipment, and scaling a team to full capacity.

The ideal candidate brings proven greenfield startup experience in advanced manufacturing and component production, with deep expertise in highly automated, robotics-intensive environments. This role is for a builder who thrives on ownership and accountability.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Lead production startup activities : equipment commissioning, process validation, trial runs, and ramp-up to full capacity
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, safety protocols, and quality control processes for the new facility
• Establish production schedules, capacity plans, and operational KPIs
• Manage daily production operations to meet customer demand, quality standards, and delivery commitments
• Hire, train, and develop production team including supervisors, leads, technicians, and operators
• Drive accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence on the floor
• Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation
• Oversee heavily automated production lines with industrial robotics, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Partner with automation engineers to ensure robotic systems run at peak efficiency
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize OEE
• Identify opportunities for further automation and process improvement
• Implement lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM) to eliminate waste
• Monitor and improve key metrics : cycle time, throughput, scrap rates, first-pass yield, and on-time delivery
• Establish strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for production, quality, and safety issues
